From the smugmug "What's the difference?" page:
> Professional Accounts are identical to Power User
> accounts except they come with 4 times the traffic
> of Normal Accounts and can be automatically upgraded
> in $30 increments to provide unlimited traffic.
> They also let you use your own domain name and let
> you issue guest passwords. You can use any account
> for commerical activity, including normal accounts.
> But it's likely that the only users who can generate
> enough traffic to need a commercial account are
> companies.

Question for you:
I am considering upgrading to a smugmug Pro Account before the pending price increase. With all the new smugmug enhancements coming, will the statement above remain true for Pro Accounts, or will some new functionality only be made available to Pro users? My main motivations for getting a Pro account are the homepage customizations and custom domain name. I have read about some hat trick customizations that
only seem to be enabled for Pro users. The pending new smugmug CSS customization enhancements will be welcome by many. Will any of these things be reserved only for Pro users? Just trying to base my upgrade
decision on the right criteria.

I notice prices still haven't gone up, yet you thought this was going to happen last week in your original note. Is it just delayed? Or are you rethinking?

Hi Don,

You mention new partnerships coming - would you mind elaborating?
Asking because I just spent all morning exploring your site and partnerships was one of the things that came to my mind.

Thanks,
