Phil can then ban all coupon codes from being posted on his forum, but people can still link to smugmug and to their photo galleries. I dont think you have done anything wrong. That being said I also dont think that you can sit by and do nothing. You may offer up a solution to dpreview that would let them block the links that have the referal but keep all the other links.
