I just upgraded to Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6). It seems to have broken Firefox 3.5's color management. The color profiles Smugmug attaches to images no longer make a difference in Firefox, unlike in Leopard. You can test this by setting Firefox's color management option to 1 or 2.

I've just now finished reading through Getting Great Prints. Chris, not everyone has Photoshop. There *are* a number of other quality image editors out there that large numbers of people use. Some of them are very, very good. Some are chosen just because they better fit someone's budget. It's always discouraging to run into otherwise useful articles written as if nothing but Photoshop exists.

An update: we add ICC profiles to all image display sizes no matter the browser now, except for thumbnails.

One reason is Firefox 3 can use ICC profiles if you enable them.
