@Allen – we don’t prevent these comments – they show up in your comments control panel, for you to approve. Profanity is replaced with $%!#. Check your control panel, Stats tab, and you can review your comments there, and approve (or delete) any comments. Thanks!

I strongly oppose the censorship of my comments. Please, please, please make this a feature I can disable. I hardly have any comments on my albums, but if someone wants to be “profane” then I don’t care. Last thing I want is some non-intelligible non-sense (due to missing words) on my albums.

@Gloria : Sorry for the trouble! We don’t refuse comments due to profanity, we just filter out (remove) the profane words, I believe.

So it sounds as though your friend may be running into an unrelated problem. Would you ask her to write our Help Desk? We’ll be happy to get things straightened out.

Hi,

With regard to this feature:

“We now filter out some profane words from comments.”

I understand and welcome it, BUT I have a friend that had to try three times and gave up leaving a comment as each one was refused. I am SURE she did not write anything profane, but was only commenting on my photo.

I think this feature should be reviewed, because it will be a deterrent for commenting, if regular comments are refused.
